All participants must park at the Metra lot, located at 10401 W. 153rd Street, conveniently located directly behind Centennial Park. There is a trail leading from the parking lot to the walk site. There are over 2,000 parking spaces available.
Bicycles and rollerblades are not permitted.
Dogs are allowed in Centennial Park as long as they are leashed.
Bring your walker collection envelope along with all collected funds, completely filled out with team name, team captain, incentive prize choice and Walk site. Remember, we need a separate envelope for EACH individual who has collected pledges! Additional envelopes will be available at the site to mail any pledges collected after the Walk.
A light lunch will be provided for all walkers; snacks and other refreshments will be available at the checkpoints along the route.
Everyone who raises $100 or more will receive a Walk to Cure Diabetes T-shirt!
Scheduled activities: DJ, Moonwalks, Dance Team, Cheerleaders, Bagpiper, Face Painting and more
The Walk will be held rain or shine!
