Participants may park at
Benedictine University (5700 College Road _ Lisle, IL) or the
Lisle Commuter Lot (1040 Burlington Ave. _ Lisle, IL). Both remote parking locations are conveniently located less than a mile from the Walk site.
Shuttles will be available to take all walkers to the Walk site. Shuttles will run from 7:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
Parking is available on site ONLY for walkers with official JDRF assigned permits. Please note: handicap parking is available on site.
Bring your completed walker collection envelope with your team name, team captain name, incentive prize choice and Walk site. Remember, we need a separate envelope for EACH individual who has collected pledges! Additional envelopes will be available at the site to mail any pledges collected after the Walk.
A lite lunch will be provided for all walkers; snacks and other refreshments will be available at the checkpoint along the route.
Everyone who raises $100 or more will receive a Walk to Cure Diabetes T-shirt!
Scheduled activities: DJ, Moonwalks, children’s games, Lisle Illinettes Dance Team, Chicago Acrobatic Squad, face painting and more…
**Please Note: No animals on the buses. Dogs are welcome on site, but must be dropped off at one of the Drop-off locations:
1. Short St. & Ohio Court
2. Short St. & Rte. 53
