Ron Santo walk to Cure Diabetes
West Suburban Site

Walk Day: Sunday, October 14th, 2012
Check In time: 8:30 am
Start Time: 9:30 am
Length: 3K (2 miles)

Parking Instructions:
Participants may park at Benedictine University (5700 College Road, Lisle, IL) or the Lisle Commuter Lot (1040 Burlington Ave., Lisle, IL). Both remote parking locations are conveniently located less than a mile from the Walk site.

Shuttles will be available to take all walkers to the Walk site from these locations. Shuttles will run from 7:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

**Please Note: No dogs on the buses. Dogs are welcome on site, but must be dropped off at one of the Drop-off locations:
1. Short St. & Ohio Court
2. Short St. & Rte. 53

Parking is available on site ONLY for walkers with official JDRF assigned permits. Please note: handicap parking is available on site.

Walk Day Information:
Bring your completed walker collection envelope with your team name, team captain name, and Walk site. Remember, we need a separate envelope for EACH individual who has collected pledges! Additional envelopes will be available at the site to mail any pledges collected after the Walk.

A light lunch will be provided for all walkers; snacks and other refreshments will be available at the checkpoint along the route.

Everyone who raises $100 or more will receive a Walk to Cure Diabetes T-shirt (one shirt per walker)!

Scheduled activities: DJ, Moonwalks, children’s games, face painting and more…

The Walk will be held rain or shine!
