Michigan Avenue magazine and JDRF’s Young Leaders Committee are bringing Hollywood to our hometown at upscale hot-spot, Luxbar, for an Academy Awards Party. Join us on Sunday, March 7 at 6:00 pm, for an evening full of cinema and celebs while watching the awards on more than 15 HD TVs! Bid on fabulous items in the silent auction (benefiting JDRF), enjoy dinner-by-the-bite and sip on signature cocktails designed for the stars. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit JDRF.

Intermix Event
On Thursday, January 28th, the JDRF Young Leaders Committee hosted a shopping event at the Intermix boutique in Bucktown. Guest shopped trendy looks, sipped wine and experienced mini-makeovers from neighborhood hair and makeup stylists. Whether it was a fashionable accessory or whole new outfit, each purchase made our guests more fashionable and benefited diabetes research. Thanks to Intermix for hosting and supporting the YLC and to our guests for making it such a fun event!
