Family Day was held on Sunday, June 1, 2008 at Six Flags Great America. More than 90 families came out to spend the day with JDRF and learn more about type 1 diabetes management. The event hosted two educational sessions, focusing on working with schools and tips on diabetes care and management. The families then had the chance to visit sponsor booths and meet other families dealing with type 1 diabetes.
