The Independent Order of Odd Fellows Sycamore Lodge would like to invite you to our Annual Oddfest Event taking place in downtown Sycamore on August 21st. This year, the event benefits two worthy causes: Make a Wish Foundation and JDRF. Bring your family and your friends for food and drinks, music and entertainment including comedy by Rick March and Friends, face painting, stilt walking and more! Musical entertainment this year includes Sycamore’s own Menagerie, as well as Roadhouse Prophets and Chemically Imbalanced. Prize and cash raffles will take place throughout the afternoon.

Lakes Golf Course in Bloomingdale, IL.
On October 1st, Tera’s Troopers will be hosting a golf outing with all proceeds benefiting JDRF. The event will be held at Indian Lakes Golf Course in Bloomingdale, IL. The scramble will be held on Friday afternoon, October 1st, with a 1:00 shotgun start. Afterward there will be an outdoor Bar-be-cue with food and soft drinks. Tickets are $100 for golf and the bar-be-cue or $40 for just the bar-be-cue. Limited availability. Sponsors and donations are welcome. Runners -- want to know how they can use a marathon to fundraise for diabetes research? Now you can! Register for the Walk at
www.jdrfillinois.org under the Lakefront team "Marathoners Supporting JDRF." When runners register they can fundraise online and keep track of their donations. Spread the word to your running community! Please note: that this is not a formalized training program.
