Support Fund A Cure!

JDRF’s Fund A Cure program gives supporters the opportunity to directly impact the search for a cure. Through this program 100% of all donations will go directly to areas of promising research.

The money raised through this year’s Fund A Cure program will benefit research in the area of complications and will be named in honor of Ron Santo, at the request of the Chicago Cubs and the Ricketts family.
Please visit our Fund A Cure Donation Page to make your 100% tax deductible donation.

Tribute Messages for Ron.

Supporters making an online donation of $100 or more will be able to include a special tribute message. The support of the Cubs in the community and the unwavering dedication of Ron Santo over the last 30 years are remarkable. Please create a tribute message and tell us how you have been inspired by the tireless volunteerism of Ron Santo and the Chicago Cubs.

With your generosity and commitment to JDRF, our children, friends and loved ones will one day live a life free from diabetes.

Complications Research: Goals and Advances
JDRF’s Complications Therapies research focuses on ways to free people from the devastating long-term complications that can accompany diabetes, including diseases of the eyes, nerves, and kidneys. The aim is to stop complications from starting and from progressing, with the hope that the body can repair any damage.

Why is this area of research important?
This area of research is a priority for JDRF because of its strong potential to generate breakthroughs that can help people with diabetes lead healthier lives. In turn, they’ll be in the best possible health to benefit from other cure therapies when available.
