The 2010 Best of Illinois dinner honored JDRF and International Board member, Chip Halverson and has raised more than $500,000.
The dinner took place on Tuesday, June 1st in the Chicago Marriott’s Grand Ballroom. The evening began with a cocktail reception and then moved into the ballroom for a sit-down dinner and a moving tribute to the honoree. The evening’s emcees, Allison Rosati and Rob Stafford from NBC 5 Chicago, set the tone for an emotional and inspiring evening.
